Hi, I’m Dan White — photographer, traveler, and visual storyteller based in St. Louis, Missouri.
I’ve spent years capturing the world through a lens, from the quiet dignity of New Orleans cemeteries to the sweeping landscapes of Alaska and the vivid energy of city streets. My work is driven by a love for both the details others miss and the moments that pass too quickly. Whether it’s light hitting water just right or a subtle gesture during a parade, I’m always chasing the real, the raw, and the beautifully imperfect.
I shoot with a Canon R6 Mark II, but you’ll also find me using my iPhone when the moment calls for it — because for me, it’s not about the gear, it’s about the story. I do all my editing personally using tools like Luminar Neo, Lightroom and DaVinci Resolve to keep my work grounded and intentional.
This site is a reflection of everywhere I’ve been and everything I’ve seen — a growing archive of images tied to memory, place, and perspective. Thanks for visiting. I hope the photos connect with you the same way they did with me.
